My Dad lives in Vernon and it is pretty neat to see these in the hot summer days. This was a big project that was undertaken to revitalize and provide uniqueness to the city's downtown core. They chose a heritage theme to celebrate its history through the arts - preserves and enhances both disciplines.

Wow, Linda, those murals were amazing! It's incredible the local talent to paint so realistically in such a large scale! I have a family friend who lives in Vernon and if I go to visit her during the Christmas break I will be sure to look for those! Thanks for the info! PS - Have you seen the murals painted on the semi-trucks? Fascinating also...
Have you seen the murals in the town on Vancouver Island, oh what is the name of that place, ahhhh, they are amazing and quite the tourist attraction. Oh why can't I remember. Probably to much studying blocking the important information. I will find out and tell you in class.
